Öffnen →
City
-
Building
A panel block, a brick building or an office with a plinth, a cornice, recessed windows and rooftop plant. The windows are real openings in the wall, so you can go inside — and a lift shaft fits.
Öffnen → -
Road with pavements
A street segment — a cambered carriageway, kerbs laid a metre at a time, a channel with gullies, patches, covers, markings and a pavement in bays. 3.25 m lanes, a 120 mm kerb, as in a real street.
Öffnen → -
Street furniture
Lamp, bin, bench, bollard, sign, traffic light, hydrant, manhole, tree grate, wheelie bin, utility cabinet, bus shelter, bike rack and post box. Real street heights, not guesses.
Öffnen → -
Vehicles
A delivery van, a car and a lorry with a tail lift. At real sizes — the van fits a six-metre bay, the lorry does not.
Öffnen → -
Staircase
One floor of stairs, dog-leg or straight, with a handrail. The step count follows from the floor height — every step in a flight is the same.
Öffnen → -
Building interior
Corridor, flat door, entrance lobby, mailboxes, radiator and the notice by the lift. Sized so a rail can actually be carried through.
Öffnen → -
Junction
A four-way or T junction with proper radiused corners, crossings and pavements. It meets the road with no offset — same carriageway and pavement levels.
Öffnen → -
Articulated lorry
Tractor unit, semi-trailer or the whole rig. At real sizes — 16.5 m cannot turn into a residential street, and that matters in the game.
Öffnen → -
Person
A fitter, worker, resident, office worker, elderly person or child — standing, walking, carrying, reaching or sitting. Only the height is set; the rest follows from proportion.
Öffnen → -
Greenery
A street tree, a conifer, a hedge, a flower bed, a planter, a grass verge and a pot by the door. The canopy is built from clumps and the leaves use several greens — one sphere in one green looks like plastic.
Öffnen → -
Ground area
A park, lawn, wood, water, pitch or paved area. The shape is a polygon from the map, not a rectangle — the irregular outline is what makes it a place.
Öffnen → -
Terrain
A patch of landscape from measured elevations. Basin, slopes and the ridges on the horizon — the surface changes with slope and height, as it does in reality.
Öffnen → -
Railway track
A stretch of track: a ballast bed with slopes, concrete sleepers every 600 mm, UIC 60 rails with resilient fastenings. 1,435 mm gauge, all dimensions to standard.
Öffnen → -
Bridge
A bridge section: a deck with an overhang, an edge beam with a drip, railings and piers. The carriageway comes from the road generator — the bridge carries only the structure.
Öffnen → -
Lift shaft
Concrete lift shaft with pit, landing openings and headroom — the space a lift is installed into. Clear dimensions, floor spacing and openings match the shaft planner, so planned parts actually fit.
Öffnen → -
Furniture
Desk, chair, shelving and shop counter — office and shop fit-out. Dimensions follow the standards, they are not guessed.
Öffnen → -
Dog
A dog standing, sitting, lying or howling. Only the withers height is set; the rest follows from proportion. No breed is assumed.
Öffnen → -
Shop interior
Sales floor with gondola runs, a checkout and a back-of-house with the goods lift. Aisles are sized so a trolley — or a guide rail — actually fits through.
Öffnen → -
Health centre interior
A health centre corridor: waiting benches, consulting room doors and a bed lift. The corridor width and landing doors are sized for a hospital bed to pass.
Öffnen → -
Hotel interior
Lift lobby, a corridor of numbered room doors and the carpet. Hotel dimensions, not guesses — 900 × 2050 doors, 1100 × 2100 landing doors.
Öffnen → -
Old city house interior
The stairwell hall of an older brick city house: a tall storey, stone dog-leg stairs, wrought-iron or timber balustrade and a wire-mesh lift cage in the stairwell void.
Öffnen → -
Block entrance interior
The whole space of one entrance floor: corridor with flat doors, the lift shaft in the stairwell void and a flight of stairs going up. Shaft clearances and step sizes match the shaft and stair generators, so a real lift fits inside.
Öffnen → -
School interior
A wide school corridor around the lift: classroom doors, lockers, a coat rack with a bench, stairs and a step-free lift. Sized so a wheelchair — and a guide rail — actually gets through.
Öffnen → -
Office building interior
An entrance hall with a reception counter and the lift lobby upstairs: lift portals, tiled floor, suspended ceiling and a directory board. The lift opening is 1100 × 2100 mm and the counter 1050 mm — the real dimensions, not guesses.
Öffnen → -
Lift machine room penthouse
The machine-room hut above a lift shaft — the thing that gives away a lift on a block of flats. A hollow shell with a plinth, a steel door in its reveal, two ventilation louvres, a ladder, a lightning rod and a warning plate.
Öffnen → -
Fence and gully
A plot fence with a plinth, masonry pillars, a wicket or driveway gate and an infill of coated chain-link, wrought bars, timber pickets or a solid panel — plus a kerb gully with its grate. The two things a Slovak street has most of, and the city had neither.
Öffnen → -
Plant room
A basement plant room next to the lift pit: concrete shell, pipe runs with valves, a boiler, a distribution cabinet, a caged bulkhead light, a steel door and a floor drainage channel.
Öffnen → -
Underground garage
Concrete basement with columns, parking bays, a low ceiling with services, a lift vestibule and a plant room door. The lowest lift landing usually sits here.
Öffnen → -
Flat hallway
The shallow hallway behind a flat door — what the player sees when the door opens: floor, coat rack, shoe cabinet, mirror, rug and a door left ajar to the room. Not a whole flat, just the first two metres, so there is no black hole behind the door.
Öffnen → -
Tree species
Lime, maple, birch, horse chestnut, arborvitae or a fruit tree — each species has a DIFFERENT SHAPE, not a different colour: its own crown outline, branching height and trunk. Plus a season: bare branches in winter, species-specific autumn colours.
Öffnen → -
Pedestrian crossing
A 0.5 m zebra, a 20 mm dropped kerb, a ramp no steeper than 1:8, a 400 mm warning strip and an 800 mm guidance strip with ribs. Optional refuge island and cycle crossing. Dimensions per Slovak regulations 30/2020 and 532/2002.
Öffnen → -
Balcony and loggia
A stand-alone balcony or loggia to place on a façade: a slab with a drip nose, five kinds of railing from a concrete parapet to post-renovation glass, side panels, aluminium glazing, a drying rack, planters and a satellite dish. Railing height and infill gaps per the Slovak railing standard.
Öffnen → -
Pavement
A pavement built the way it is built: metre kerbs on a concrete bed, block paving laid in a pattern (stretcher, herringbone, fan), a 2 % fall towards the road, a dropped kerb at the driveway with tactile strips, and a garden kerb where it meets the grass.
Öffnen → -
Junction detail
What actually governs a junction and was missing from the tile: approach markings (stop line or give-way squares, centre line, edge line, lane arrow), a signal head on its pole with hoods, and a traffic mirror. The origin sits on the carriageway surface, so it just drops onto the junction.
Öffnen → -
Window, close up
A single window detailed for a one-metre view: a four-piece outer frame, sashes with glazing beads, glazing bars, glass set back in its rebate, an external sill with a drip nose and an internal sill board, guide rails and the box of an external roller shutter or venetian blind, and one open sash with a handle. Five kinds meant to be told apart: a town-house box window (two windows behind one another across a lined reveal), a 1960s–80s coupled wooden window, a uPVC replacement, a panel-block window with a balcony door beside it, and aluminium. Plus the reveal, a ground-floor grille and a window box.
Öffnen → -
Block entrance
A whole block-of-flats entrance: a bay of the facade with the opening, a canopy, steps, a ramp with handrails, the front door, a bell panel, the house number and a light. Steps 150/330 and a 1:12 ramp per code.
Öffnen → -
River bank
A river bank section: the channel bed, the water as a thin sheet below the crest, five kinds of protection (natural bank with a gravel berm, a dyke with riprap, a concrete channel, a quay wall, gabions), a promenade with railings, steps to the water, shrubs on the crest, a flood-line band and a storm outfall.
Öffnen → -
Car park
A parking area with markings — perpendicular, angled or parallel bays, a reserved accessible bay with the wheelchair symbol, kerbs, concrete wheel stops and surfaces from asphalt to grass paving. 2.50 × 5.00 m bays and a 6.00 m aisle, to the Slovak standard.
Öffnen → -
Roof detail
A slice of roof with the things you actually see from above: a masonry or metal chimney, a chimney walkway, a roof window, a dormer, a gutter with its downpipe, snow guards, and an aerial with a dish. Built because not a single building in the map records its roof shape — and the roof is the most visible part of a town.
Öffnen → -
Luminaires — the city at night
Sodium and LED street lanterns, an ornamental old-town lantern, a park post-top, an entrance wall light, an underpass fitting and a facade floodlight. The column is conical, three-stage (Ø133/89/60) or a concrete LV distribution pole the lamp is strapped to. The lit face uses opal glass, not clear glass — at night that is the difference between a luminaire and a black hole.
Öffnen → -
Façade patch
Two to four storeys and two to six window axes of a façade, detailed for a one-metre view: full windows with frames, sashes and roller shutters, reveals and heads to the openings, a sill band, and loggias or balconies on a chosen axis. It is laid onto the wall of the building the player is standing in front of; it builds no wall and no roof — those stay with the building.
Öffnen → -
Property boundary
A property boundary the way it is actually built in Slovakia: a concrete base wall with chain-link, concrete posts with chain-link for a compound, wooden pickets, a masonry wall, a thuja hedge, a pedestrian gate and a vehicle gate.
Öffnen → -
Housing estate courtyard
The space between blocks of flats as one piece: grass, a path along the façade linking the entrances, spurs to each door, and a main surface — a car park or a block-paved pedestrian spine. Ready-made street furniture is set into it exactly as it stands in photographs of the estate: the carpet-beating frame and drying rack between entrances on worn bare ground, the bin stand by the access road and 10 m from the windows, the playground in the middle, a bin and a bench at every door, trees in the strip along the road.
Öffnen → -
Industrial hall
A hall that looks like a hall: trapezoidal sheet with vertical ribs, a shallow gable roof with rooflight strips, a loading dock at trailer-bed height with sectional doors and buffers, a canopy, a gatehouse and a site fence with a sliding gate. Sizes come from the 80 industrial buildings the town has in the map and from aerial imagery.
Öffnen → -
Carriageway detail
What a real carriageway has and our smooth road lacked: a manhole or valve cover in its asphalt collar, a trench reinstatement patch with an overbanded seam, a black-and-yellow speed hump, marked parking bays with a zig-zag or yellow kerb line, and the road edge itself — the sealed joint at the kerb, the silt in the gutter and the grass tufts out of it, green in the kerb's shade and burnt to straw out in the sun. The origin sits on the road surface, so it just drops onto the road.
Öffnen → -
Gutters and cornices
Facade drainage and articulation: a half-round gutter on brackets with an outlet, a downpipe with a swan neck, clips and a leaf catcher, a window sill with a drip groove, a cordon and an eaves cornice with dentils, a snow guard and a chimney head. The things every house has and that run the full height of a frontage.
Öffnen → -
Street utilities
A bus stop pole, a concrete or sheet-metal shelter, a kiosk substation and a pedestrian crossing railing — things that stand on every street, that the map reports, and that the city had no part for.
Öffnen → -
Town-house shopfront
The ground floor of a town house with a shop: a display window with mullions and a fanlight, a stone surround, the entrance with its step, a fascia sign above the head, a projecting bracket sign, an awning over the pavement, a roller shutter or scissor grille across the glass, and the cordon cornice that separates the ground floor from the storeys above. It replaces the ground-floor wall of the building it is laid onto.
Öffnen → -
Playground and sports pitch
A fenced multi-use pitch with kickboards and ball-stop netting, a ball-stop fence behind the goal, a concrete table-tennis table, a team dugout, a climbing frame with its impact-absorbing surface, and court markings. What turns a coloured polygon on the map into a real playground.
Öffnen → -
Street name and house number plates
The enamelled street-name plate on the corner of a building or on a post, plus the registration and orientation number plates — the two numbers side by side that Slovak decree 31/2003 requires: the registration number black, the orientation number red, both on white. The text is a parameter, so the city can supply the street name.
Öffnen → -
Car accessories
The things around a parked car that can stand on their own: a registration plate in three legal sizes, a traffic cone, a warning triangle, a wheel chock, a single-axle car trailer, a roof rack with a box, a spare wheel, a scissor jack, an EV charging pillar and a tow ball.
Öffnen → -
Satellite dish
A satellite dish on a facade: an offset reflector with the correct offset angle, the LNB arm reaching the focus, a wall bracket with its mast and — the thing models leave out first — the coaxial cable running down the wall in its clips. The face tilt is not entered but derived from elevation minus offset angle, so the dish stands almost upright, as it does on a real block of flats. An invented provider name can be put on the face.
Öffnen → -
Masts and mobile towers
A lattice mast, a monopole, a rooftop antenna carrier and a roadside operator mast. Three sector panels at 120°, the cable run, the equipment cabinet, a ladder, the warning plate and obstruction banding. The truss has three levels of detail — from a distance a diagonal is thinner than one pixel.
Öffnen → -
Vertical traffic sign
A traffic sign on its post — STOP, give way, no entry, speed limit, parking, residential zone, pedestrian crossing (warning and informational), and a place-name sign. The plate's outline is geometry; the artwork on it is a thin surface layer — the same boundary as the road markings in `city-krizovatka-detail`.
Öffnen → -
Fountain
Round fountain with a seat-height rim and a ring of jets (centre: stone column with a bowl, or a granite block with mirror blades after the Metamorphoses fountain in Liptovský Mikuláš), a concrete cascade from a housing estate, a dry-deck fountain with jets in the paving, and a cast-iron drinking fountain. The water surface is a glass material; the jet is an admitted stand-in.
Öffnen → -
Children's playground
Climbing frame, swing, slide, sandpit, rocker and roundabout — each in two generations: the old 1970s tubular-steel kind with peeling paint and rust at the ground, or the new timber-and-HPL kind. Worn earth under the swing. Dimensions per EN 1176.
Öffnen → -
Room behind the window
The shallow room you see through a window from the street: ceiling, back wall, the furniture that rises above the sill, and a light. The sill is 900 mm, so the sofa and the TV are out of sight and are not built. Dimensions come from catalogues and measured blocks of flats; what is estimated says so.
Öffnen →
Elevator
-
Guide rail
A real-scale tee profile — the R90 car rail and the lighter counterweight one. Foot, web and head match the dimensions ratified in the game docs.
Öffnen → -
Fishplate
The plate bridging a rail joint, with four M12 holes — two above and two below.
Öffnen → -
Rail bracket
The bracket that holds the rail on the shaft wall. The fixed one is a single piece; the adjustable one is two — a wall part and an arm that slides ±23 mm in its slots.
Öffnen → -
Mesh shaft enclosure
The cage of an older lift shaft in a stairwell: black angle frame with crimped wire mesh, bolted joints, brackets and a landing lock. Dimensions read from photographs of a Transporta lift.
Öffnen → -
Rail clip
The clip that presses the rail foot onto the bracket seat. One symmetric piece — left and right are the same part turned round.
Öffnen → -
Fasteners
Fourteen kinds across seven threads M5 to M20: bolt, nut, washer, anchor, nyloc nut, spring washer, threaded rod, countersunk, self-drilling, set screw, rivet, carriage bolt and square nut. Each piece knows which of the two lifts uses it — the old Transporta, the new TREVA, or both.
Öffnen → -
Rail shim
The shim behind the bracket wall plate that brings the rail into plumb. The holes match the anchor pitch.
Öffnen → -
Guide shoe
The jaw that wraps the rail head — body and replaceable liner. The clearance round the blade follows the chosen rail profile.
Öffnen → -
Pit equipment
Car and counterweight buffers, the buffer pedestal, the pit ladder and the stop switch. Sized by what they have to take.
Öffnen → -
Machine and sheave
The gearless machine, the grooved traction sheave, the bedplate, the brake and the encoder. Sheave diameter follows rope thickness.
Öffnen → -
Old geared machine
The worm-geared lift machine of the original installation — cast traction sheave with spokes, bronze worm wheel, gearbox, motor and shoe brake.
Öffnen → -
Car sling
Crosshead, upright, safety plank and platform — the frame the car hangs in. The sections have real wall thickness.
Öffnen → -
Old car — frame and boarding
The roof and floor of the original car: timber boards on a steel frame with diagonal bracing, rope hitch and guide-shoe brackets.
Öffnen → -
Cabin panels
Floor, side wall, front return, false ceiling, light fitting and the apron under the sill. Pressed sheet with folded edges.
Öffnen → -
Counterweight
The counterweight frame and a filler block. Blocks go in one at a time — their number is how the lift is balanced.
Öffnen → -
Safety gear and governor
Safety gear block, lift-rod linkage, overspeed governor and the pit tension pulley. The wedge grips the rail whose profile the part knows.
Öffnen → -
Electrical equipment
The controller cabinet, shaft junction box, cable trunking with fixings, main isolator, limit switches, luminaire, alarm bell and position indicator.
Öffnen → -
Ropes and cabling
Suspension and governor ropes, the wedge socket, the door sync rope and the traveling cable. The rope is laid from strands, not a smooth bar.
Öffnen → -
Fitter's tools
Drill, driver, hammer, torque wrench, level, plumb bob, laser, tape and marker. Masses match the catalogue — they decide what can be carried one-handed.
Öffnen → -
Site equipment
Scaffold, work platform, shaft barrier, chain block and extension reel. Wall thickness sets the mass, and the mass decides what one person can carry.
Öffnen → -
Personal protective equipment
Helmet, full body harness and an energy-absorbing lanyard. Without the harness the game does not let you onto the car top or into the pit.
Öffnen → -
Shipping crate
The crate the lift arrives in. The size follows from the contents — a five-metre rail needs a five-and-a-half-metre crate. The mass is the timber plus what is inside.
Öffnen → -
Rail run
The whole run in one go: rails, fishplates, brackets and clips in their right places — with a bill of materials to go with the geometry.
Öffnen → -
Landing door
A landing door panel, the sill, or the whole set. Panel width follows from the door type and the clear opening — it is not a free number.
Öffnen → -
Old landing door
The swing landing door of the original lift — glazed with two wired-glass panes, or solid with a vision slot. With frame, threshold, hinges and closer.
Öffnen → -
Door gear
Sill support, jamb, header, track, rollers, gib, interlock, closer and toe guard — everything that gets fitted and adjusted around a door.
Öffnen → -
Car door
Sill, operator, panel, coupler and contact. The coupler is what engages the landing door — without it the landing door stays shut.
Öffnen → -
Call station and car panel
A stainless faceplate with buttons and a display. A landing call station or the car panel — the button count follows from the number of landings.
Öffnen → -
Office devices
Laptop and mobile phone at real sizes. The laptop is a 15.6" and can be closed; the display is its own material slot so the engine can light it up.
Öffnen → -
Old controller interior
The mounting plate of a Transporta VRN 3 controller: contactors, floor-register relays, breakers, transformers, a selenium rectifier and terminal blocks.
Öffnen → -
Old car interior
Lining, skirtings and cover battens of the old Transporta car, floor with covering, false ceiling with light, handrail and mirror. The entrance side is open — the car had no doors.
Öffnen → -
Old landing door hardware
Hardware of the old swing landing door taken from photographs of a lift replacement — bezelled vision window, triangular emergency lock, handle with backplate, riveted instruction plate, hinge, shaft-side latch and closer bracket.
Öffnen → -
Machine room (space)
The room above the shaft: floor with rope holes, walls, a framed door, a ventilation louvre, the lifting beam with its hook, a guard rail around the opening and the warning notice.
Öffnen → -
Shaft structure
The self-supporting steel structure of a new installation: perforated post, head beam, foot and wall tie.
Öffnen →
